Key responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities – WordPress & Shopify Developer
Customize WordPress themes, plugins, Shopify themes, and storefronts based on project requirements.
Convert designs from Figma/PSD/XD into responsive websites.
Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP/Liquid for website customization.
Develop and customize Shopify sections, templates, and theme components using Liquid.
Handle Shopify product setup, collections, navigation, and basic store configurations.
Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins and Shopify apps.
Integrate and troubleshoot APIs, third-party tools, payment gateways, and other website integrations.
Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and cross-browser compatible.
Perform website maintenance, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
Implement basic SEO-friendly practices, including clean URLs, meta information, image optimization, and proper heading structures.
Troubleshoot technical issues and identify solutions to improve website functionality and performance.
Work closely with designers, SEO teams, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
Perform website testing and quality checks before deployment.
Maintain and update existing websites based on client requirements.
Follow best practices for website security, backups, and version control.
