Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Modeling Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial modeling, Excel, financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation and be comfortable working with financial data and business assumptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and projections.
- Build Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow models.
- Perform financial analysis and scenario/sensitivity analysis.
- Assist with company valuation, DCF analysis, and financial planning.
- Analyze historical financial data and identify trends and business insights.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Validate financial data and ensure accuracy of calculations.
- Work with different business assumptions to evaluate potential outcomes.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience/knowledge of Financial Modeling.
- Understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements.
- Knowledge of Financial Forecasting & Budgeting.
- Basic understanding of DCF and Valuation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com / CFA / CA / Financial Analysis certification.
- Candidates with practical experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, or financial modeling will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong financial modeling and Excel skills can also apply.
